Goldsmiths’ Company to showcase services at New Designers event
The Goldsmiths’ Company is set to sponsor the annual ‘New Designers’ exhibition, supporting young jewellers and silversmiths, on June 25 – 28.
The exhibition showcases the work of recent graduate designers from the UK’s leading educational institution with The Goldsmiths’ Company, the longest standing sponsor of the awards, sponsoring two prestigious industry awards for participating jewellers and silversmiths.
The prize includes an internship with a well known jeweller or silversmith and a £500 bursary towards living expenses. A free 10 year registration with The Goldsmiths’ Company Assay Office and a standard sponsor’s punch with 2-5 initials are also included.
New Designers, held at the Business Design Centre in Islington, London displays the work of over 3,000 talented graduate designers throughout eight ‘design zones’, including jewellery and precious metal work.
Goldsmiths’ Company, Centre and Assay Office representatives will be on stand S9 throughout the show to promote all their student and graduate opportunities including training courses, competitions, mentoring and student Assay packages. They will be joined by successful recipients of those services who will be sharing their experiences.
