Beaverbrooks the Jewellers has announced the introduction of Tudor watches to its range.

Tudor, which is part of the Rolex group, has a history stemming from Hans Wilsdorf, a leading figure in the Swiss watchmaking industry and the founder of Rolex.

In 1946 Wilsdorf founded Tudor with the aim of creating timepieces with all the dependability of a Rolex watch, but at a more modest price.

Mark Adlestone, chairman of Beaverbrooks, said: “This is the start of a great relationship with Tudor and we are thrilled to be launching this fabulous brand into five of our stores. Tudor is aspirational for our customers and we are confident that the launch will be a massive success.”

A family-run business since 1919, Beaverbrooks has played a part in the nation’s marital celebrations for nearly 100 years, helping to celebrate a wide variety of beautiful engagements and weddings through the creation of stunning designs over the last century.

The chain is launching Tudor watches into its Chester, Oxford, Manchester Arndale, High Wycombe and Doncaster stores.
