Elliot Brown named Clipper yacht race timekeeper

British watch brand Elliot Brown has been named the official timekeeper of the Clipper Round the World Yacht Race which will take place on August 30, 2015. 

To celebrate the 10th anniversary of the race, which will see competitors take part in a 11-month long, 40,000, mile yacht race, Elliott Brown is producing 1,000 special edition watches named Canford 202-015.

The watch will be worn by one crew member who will document their experience through blogs, videos and photos. It features a leather black strap, Swiss movement and water resistance up to 200m.

Ian Elliot, co-founder at Elliot Brown, said: “We are delighted to be selected as official timekeeper for one of the biggest challenges of the natural world – the Clipper Round the World Yacht Race.
