Istanbul Jewelry Show postponed until May
The trade show was originally set to take place between 25-28 March 2021, but has been scheduled in light of ongoing restrictions on international travel
Organisers for the annual Istanbul Jewelry Show have announced that the event has now been postponed until 27-30 May 2021.
The trade show was originally set to take place between 25-28 March 2021, but has been scheduled in light of ongoing restrictions on international travel.
The rescheduled event will take place at the CNR Expo, Istanbul Fair Center, with an “enhanced” set of health and safety standards.
In a statement, the event’s organisers said: “While Informa continues to successfully and safely run events using the industry-recognized AllSecure Standard, an enhanced set of event health and safety standards, we believe that moving the Istanbul Jewelry Show March event to May 2021 is the right decision to achieve a more successful and accessible event, in consideration of the continuing restrictions on international travel.
“Our priority is always to realize the successful, efficient and high-standard events that our attendees and exhibitors rightly expect, and where the industry can receive the maximum benefit in coming together.”
This is not the first time the event has been postponed in light of the ongoing pandemic. Last year, the event was initially due to take place between 19-22 March 2020 at the CNR Expo, before organisers announced its postponement until June.
However, due to the nature of the outbreak at the time, organisers confirmed that the event would be further postponed, and set the preliminary new dates for 25-28 March 2021.
