Lilienthal Berlin launches new meteorite watch collection
Together with the case made from ‘high quality’ titanium, a scratch-resistant glass case back, Superluminova-coated hands and a dial protected by sapphire glass, the new collection will only feature 999 pieces
Lilienthal Berlin has released a new limited edition series,“The Infinite Freedom of the Universe” which features real pieces of meteorite in the centre of the dial for a starting price of €1,199 (£1,059).
Together with the case made from “high quality” titanium, a scratch-resistant glass case back, Superluminova-coated hands and a dial protected by sapphire glass, the new collection will only feature 999 pieces.
The patterned structure of the meteorite is continued onto the textured dial, and the “cosmic color tone” also extends to the titanium case. The watch is also powered by the Swiss automatic caliber R150 by Ronda.
It features 25 gemstones to ensure the “smooth running” of the movement which has a 40 hour power reserve and a date display. Additionally, the rotor is engraved with the Lilienthal Berlin logo and is fitted with a glass case back.
The case, which is just ten millimeters high, is made of polished titanium in dark silver that is “extremely” light and quickly adapts to body temperature.
As with all limited editions from Lilienthal Berlin, when all pieces are sold, the group will reportedly donate €5,000 (£4,418) to various charities and children’s aid projects
