Christie’s prepares for Valentines jewellery sale
The auction will feature works from iconic designers such as Angela Cummings, Bulgari, Buccellati, Cartier, David Webb, Graff, JAR, Tiffany & Co, and Van Cleef & Arpels
Christie’s has announced it will host an online jewellery sale ahead of Valentine’s Day, which will last from 27 January to 10 February.
The holiday auction will feature works from iconic designers such as Angela Cummings, Bulgari, Buccellati, Cartier, David Webb, Graff, JAR, Tiffany & Co, and Van Cleef & Arpels.
Over 200 lots will be on offer to customers via the virtual auction, with many lots having a starting price below $2,000 (£1,466).
The auctioneer’s lead sale is a Fancy Yellow Diamond Ring of 23.58 Carats worth between $200,000 and $300,000 (£146,000-219,000).
Other jewellery being showcased at the auction include Pavé Diamond and Rose Gold ‘Love’ Bracelet by Cartier ($6,000-8,000); Aluminum Geranium Petal Earrings by JAR ($1,500-2,000) and Coral ‘Rose De Noel’ Brooch by Van Cleef & A rpels ($12,000-18,000).
