BAJ launches online masterclass series

The jewellery school will host classes by industry experts on a wide variety of topics

The British Academy of Jewellery (BAJ) has announced it will be hosting a series of online masterclasses, which will be available to all BAJ students for free.

Masterclasses will be made available via Zoom and will cover a wide variety of topics related to jewellery making and production.

The jewellery school’s classes will range from live demonstrations to lectures and professional advice sessions fostering essential business skills, all hosted by leading industry experts.

Among the set speakers for said masterclasses are Liz Olver from bespoke jewellery brand Vashi, Kimjoux founder Trang Do, British Vogue’s Carol Woolton, and world-renowned jewellery designers Theo Fennell and Bobby White.

This year’s masterclass programme began with a jewellery photography class led by GEM Kreatives co-founder Julia Flit, a London-based jewellery and fashion photographer whose recent shoots include advertising campaigns for Garrard and Silvia Furmanovich.
