Boodles to launch Victoria Leeds site
Due to open later this year, the shop will span 4,500 sq ft, joining a number of luxury brands at the centre, including Louis Vuitton and Mulberry
Boodles, the luxury family-owned jewellers, is set to launch a Victoria Quarter store at Hammerson’s flagship Victoria Leeds shopping area.
Due to open later this year, the shop will span 4,500 sq ft, while joining a number of luxury brands at the centre, including Louis Vuitton and Mulberry.
The site has been designed in the style of a townhouse as Boodles intends to provide its customers with a personalised experience.
Moreover, the second floor will feature a dedicated lounge area for private dinners, special events, and relaxation.
Jody Wainwright, director at Boodles, said: “This is a family business which started two centuries ago in the north of England so we are excited to build on this heritage, bringing the Boodles experience to Leeds.
“One of our hallmarks is providing exceptional service and the private spaces on the second floor will bring this to life.”
The Leeds venue represents Boodles’ fourth site, and will stock the group’s recently released Travel Collection.
Iain Mitchell, UK commercial director at Hammerson, added: “Boodles is an iconic British fine jewellery brand and we are delighted to have secured them for Victoria Leeds.
“They will join recent lettings to Kate Spade and Carvela which demonstrates how Victoria Leeds continues to be the premier regional destination.”
