Cooper has worked in retail for the last 30 years, kickstarting her career with Swarovski in America before moving to World Duty Free, Gecko Trading Limited and Amazon in the UK.
Cooper said: “I am looking forward to working with the Board to continue to improve our value proposition to customers and to evolve strategy that will enable F.Hinds to continue to be successful in the years to come.”
Paul Hinds, managing director, added: “The balance of both family members and non-family appointees creates a strong framework for the future of our company. Our policy of steady expansion will be enhanced by the knowledge, experience and expertise Jamie has displayed over a number of years and now brings to the board.”
