Bucherer Fine Jewellery has unveiled its latest release, The High Jewellery Collection, in a tribute to early Bucherer women, Louise and Wilhelmina, who laid the groundwork for the label.
The collection encompasses six coloured gems and six diamond pieces which Bucherer said are “powerful instruments for its wearers to fashion a modern version of the empowered self”.
Bucherer said: “The inspiration for the collection is rooted in contrast. Both the courageous Louise and Wilhelmina cherished a strong link to home and the Bucherer family, but at the same time the women stood their ground in a male-dominated world.
“The frosty diamonds of the pieces are reminiscent of Louis’ cool business attire when bringing forward the family business, while the colourful gemstones recall Wilhelmina’s gem sourcing adventures in South America. Their drive and fire paved the way for the passion and expertise that shapes Bucherer Fine Jewellery up to this day.”
