Bucherer announces partnership with Mytheresa

Luxury jewellery and watch retailer Bucherer has announced its partnership with luxury e-commerce platform Mytheresa. Bucherer said that the collaboration will expand the offering of fine watches and jewellery on the Mytheresa platform for its customers. As a first step, Bucherer has launched certified pre-owned (CPO) watches on Mytheresa Life as well as Mytheresa’s Womenswear and Menswear departments. The certified pre-owned watches will initially be available in Europe, including Switzerland and the UK. According to Bucherer, the target is to expand the CPO watches offering later into other regions and to further launch an assortment of New Fine Watches in 2024. Customers will be able to regularly discover a curated selection of over 300 pre-owned timepieces from around 25 brands, including Audemars Piguet, Breitling, Cartier, IWC Schaffhausen, Jaeger-LeCoultre and Omega. A team of watchmakers certified by the watch brands will service the timepieces, providing customers an international two-year warranty and full-service package directly from Bucherer. Mytheresa said that by joining forces and building a uniquely integrated service model, the partnership between Mytheresa and Bucherer provides “a new level of customer experience for discovering and purchasing the most elevated selection of high-end and certified pre-owned timepieces”. Patrick Graf, Bucherer CCO, said: “This new partnership between Mytheresa and Bucherer is an invitation for customers to embark on an endless journey of discovery. Every single timepiece tells a unique story of style which can now be discovered amongst the best curation of luxury fashion and design. “As global demand for pre-owned watches reaches unprecedented levels, we feel that trust, expertise and authenticity have become ever more important – three values at the core of Mytheresa and Bucherer’s philosophy.” Michael Kliger, Mytheresa CEO, added: “We are very happy to offer our high-end customers another exciting opportunity to shop luxury pieces on our platform.
