Tasaki launches new Nature Spectacle collection

The black South Sea pearls, the yellow tourmalines and blue zircons represent the ocean surface which reflects the moonlight

Tasaki has launched its new Atelier 6 collection, Nature Spectacle, which takes inspiration from the spectacle created by the sun and the moon onto the sea.

The new collection features Flourish, Cascade, Swirl, Ocean Light, Splendor and Aurora themes.

Flourish depicts a “shallow and clear” lagoon where the sunlight flickers in the water and features coloured stones such as sapphires in various colours, morganites, and tourmalines with different shades which are set like a mosaic.

Furthermore, the shorelines where sea waves break into ripples are rendered as the smooth continuous lines of pearls and diamonds.

The “work-of-art” like parure includes a necklace, bracelet, and earrings.

Cascade expresses water droplets, sparkling with light as they stream down the forest. This season’s motif is an emerald-green oasis which appears deep in a dense tropical rainforest.

Cascade includes a necklace and earrings which are designed with Paraiba tourmalines and multiple layers of pearls representing the flow of water cascading down through “lush” greenery.

Swirl represents the ocean where the tidal currents “dynamically” rotate and create large spiral movements. The swirling movement of the currents is depicted with the diamonds and the curved lines of metal.

The pieces in the Swirl collection include a necklace, earrings and a ring.

Additionally, Ocean Light is inspired by the reflection of a full moon on the ocean. The strands of white South Sea pearls and Akoya pearls aim to capture the movement of the rippling whitecap waves.

The black South Sea pearls, the yellow tourmalines and blue zircons represent the ocean surface which reflects the moonlight.

The jewellery pieces from the Splendor range are inspired by the wind. The sapphires in soft and pale colours set along the necklace and earrings feature a swaying design

Lastly, The Aurora series is expressed through an organic line of metal encircling a pearl, with a new design being introduced this year, which features a black South Sea pearl.

Created in a necklace, earrings and ring, this jewellery symbolises the “mystical” scene of light shining into the depths of the ocean.
