Tasaki unveils Ritz Paris collaboration

The first collection was launched in 2016 to mark the opening of Tasaki’s first boutique in France and Europe and also to mark the re-opening of the Ritz Paris

Tasaki has unveiled a new high jewellery collection in partnership with the Ritz Paris.

Named “Nouvelle Ère”, this is the fourth collection to be released since the partnership was first launched in 2016.

The collection comprises four chapters and 13 pieces in total, each taking inspiration from the hotel’s 125-year history, architecture, and some of its most famous guests.

The collection’s four chapters include Lumineux, inspired by the grand balls organised by the Ritz’s founder César Ritz; Scintillement, which takes the hotel’s iconic curved staircase as its main design reference.

It also includes Unisson and Harmonie, both inspired by the creative spirit and fashion of Paris a century ago and notable guests of the hotel at the time.

The Lumineux set is composed of a torque necklace, a ring and a pair of earrings, all set in 18k white gold and featuring rare, coloured diamonds paired with Tasaki’s signature Akoya pearls.

Scintillement includes a necklace featuring 16 canary tourmalines, cascading down the necklace, set in white gold with white diamonds, totalling 6.37 carats, each stone reminiscent of the steps of the famous staircase.

It also includes two rings, one of them including a canary tourmaline and another featuring a mandarin garnet, both set in 18K white gold with diamonds.

The first collection was launched in 2016 to mark the opening of Tasaki’s first boutique in France and Europe and also to mark the re-opening of the Ritz Paris.
