Ernst Jones launches new Leonardo Da Vinci Cut collection

Additionally, every Leonardo Da Vinci Cut diamond comes with a certificate to provide assurance of origin and responsible production practices

Ernst Jones has announced the launch of its exclusive collection of traceable diamonds – the Leonardo Da Vinci Cut.

The new collection is inspired by Leonardo da Vinci’s work on the ‘Golden Ratio’, also known as the divine proportion. It is a mathematical equation (a/b=1.618), commonly found in nature and universally believed to be the formula to “beauty and perfection”.

Leonardo da Vinci used this ‘Golden Ratio’ to create his 60 illustrations for Luca Pacioli’s ‘De Divina Proportione’.

This creates a distinct pentagon that radiates a “kaleidoscopic effect of three stars that are visible to the naked eye”.

The collection consists of 28 dazzling pieces, including classic solitaires, single and double halos, diamond bands, trilogies, diamond earrings, and pendants, all handcrafted in repurposed platinum and 18k yellow gold using renewable energy.

Additionally, every Leonardo Da Vinci Cut diamond comes with a certificate to provide assurance of origin and responsible production practices.

To ensure its rigorous quality standards are met, each stone is certified by Gemological Science International (GSI) as Triple Excellent in cut, symmetry and polish.

Lastly, every diamond is traceable to its country of origin through blockchain technology.
