Fabergé launches new Beetlejuice Beetlejuice collection

Fabergé has collaborated with Warner Bros to launch the Fabergé x Beetlejuice Beetlejuice fine jewellery collection. The new collection pays homage to Beetlejuice Beetlejuice, the sequel film to Tim Burton’s award-winning film Beetlejuice. Burton has collaborated closely with world-renowned Oscar-winning costume designer Colleen Atwood (Alice in Wonderland, Sweeney Todd: The Demon Barber of Fleet Street, Sleepy Hollow) and Fabergé’s head of design, Liisa Tallgren. Led by the jewellery brand’s creative director, Josina von dem Bussche-Kessell, the collection comprises 18k white gold earrings, pendants, lapel pins, collar bars and rings, inspired by the shape of a spiral, a motif prevalent in Tim Burton’s iconic films, and by two eerie Beetlejuice characters: Headworm and Sandworm. Each piece features a responsibly mined Gemfields emerald or ruby, cut to be round, oval or pear-shaped. Gemfields is a responsible miner and marketer of coloured gemstones, which strives to provide a positive impact to the country from which the gemstones originate. The red gems which feature in this collection were mined at Montepuez Ruby Mining in Mozambique, and the green emeralds were mined at Kagem Mining in Zambia, both of which are majority owned and operated by Gemfields. These colourful gemstones are surrounded by round brilliant-cut white diamonds. Each piece is painted with black, red or green UV enamel, the art of enamel being a craft technique synonymous with Fabergé. These contemporary pieces can be styled alone or together as a set, with each design paying homage to a key theme or character from the upcoming “Beetlejuice Beetlejuice” film. Additionally, the colour palette has also been carefully chosen to reflect the hues in the leading characters’ costumes. The Fabergé x Beetlejuice Beetlejuice collection is exclusively available online and Saks.com, and via our ‘By Appointment’ service.
