Pomellato unveils Mora and Mosaico collections

Each Mora ring features a cluster of cabochon gemstones perched atop a sculptural rose gold band

Pomellato has unveiled two capsule collections, Mora and Mosaico, in celebration of Pomellato’s rich heritage and artisanal mastery.

The new collections, which forms a part of the ‘Memorie d’ Archivo’ – Archival Memories, revisits and reinvents two “beloved” collections from 1996 and 1997.

At the core of these collections lies a re-interpretation of Pomellato’s signature cabochon cut.

The Mosaico collection draws inspiration from the art of mosaic. Each ring showcases a large, statement composition of cabochon-cut gemstone, complemented by a brilliant-cut diamond or coloured gemstone pave ́ set in Pomellato’s signature rose gold.

From the blue hues of sodalite to the earthy “warmth” of skarn with chrome tourmalines, the collection offers a different combination of gems.

Meanwhile, the ‘Mora’ collection, named after the Italian word for blackberry, is a tribute to “nature’s abundance”.

Each Mora ring features a cluster of cabochon gemstones perched atop a sculptural rose gold band.

The “standout” piece from the capsule mixes the blue-bended hues of labradorite with the sparkle of white diamonds.

Vincenzo Castaldo, Pomellato’s creative director, said: “With Mora and Mosaico, I wanted to reintroduce two of Pomellato’s greatest successes that are particularly dear to me, using materials that have become increasingly interesting to us: mineral gemstones.”
