Theo Fennell launches online auction for charity
Theo Fennell has announced that it is hosting a seven day silent auction on its website, with a percentage of proceeds going towards the Kensington and Chelsea Foundation’s Covid 19 Appeal.
The British fine jewellery and silverware brand said that the auction will feature five “one-of-a-kind” pieces, all of which have been designed by Theo Fennell in his design studio and then crafted by hand.
The auction will feature an emerald ring, a white gold pendant, a diamond ring, an 18ct yellow gold cuff and an 18ct yellow gold pair of earrings.
The brand pledged that 15% of the highest bid on each piece will be donated to the Kensington and Chelsea Foundation’s Covid 19 appeal which is directly helping local communities.
All funds will go towards reaching elderly people with essential supplies, as well as supporting local partners who are creating services for children, young people and vulnerable residents.
The foundation will also help to rebuild projects and services that were impacted by loss of revenue and staffing as a result of the pandemic.
Fennell said: “While this dreadful virus is doing its worst here in the middle of London, extraordinary people are doing wonderful things.
“One of these is The Kensington and Chelsea Foundation. It is looking after people who really need it and, as Chelsea has been our company’s home for 40 years, it seemed only right to support them.”
He added: “We hope this auction will be a bit of fun in these perilous times but also raise some funds for our local heroes.”
