Diamnet founder joins London Diamond Bourse

Diamnet has confirmed its founder, Howard Levine, has joined the London Diamond Bourse senior management team.

Levine has worked in the industry for almost 30 years, supplying jewellery retailers across the industry.

Although he began his career by supplying pearls, Levine has worked exclusively with diamonds and diamond jewellery for the past 16 years.

In 2017, Levine founded Diamnet with the “purpose of helping jewellery retailers to sell diamonds in the digital world we find ourselves in today”.

He will now join the senior management team of the London Diamond Bourse.

The London Diamond Bourse was established in 1940, and has been recognised as the only trade organisation in the UK with the purpose of promoting and governing the trade of diamonds across the UK.

Membership to the group is earned, instead of automatically granted, and all members are bound by a specific code of conduct which includes “integrity, moral obligation and the highest standards of trade”.

Speaking of his appointment, Levine said: “It is an honour to have been asked to join in the governance of our trade and with the ever changing landscape we face today, one I do not take lightly”.
