Trollbeads’ latest charitable venture
Trollbeads has introduced the Troll Coin, a new bead dedicated to raising funds for charitable causes worldwide.
The limited edition sterling silver Troll Coin bead will be released in the UK and Ireland on 24 October 2011 and will raise money for the Multiple Sclerosis Society, which funds vital research; gives grants; campaigns for change; invests in MS specialists; and provides information and local support to those who need it.
Fable Trading Ltd, the company’s distributor, has guaranteed to donate £5 from each of the first 1,000 Troll Coins sold.
“We’re hoping that our retailers will sell lots of these Troll Coin beads so that we can make a big donation to the wonderful work of the MS Society which offers help to over 100,000 people throughout the UK who are affected by this neurological condition,” said Sarah Morfoot, managing director of Fable Trading.
Earlier this year Fable Trading raised £2,950 from sales of each limited edition Trollbeads Kimono bead towards international disaster relief charity ShelterBox. The Trollbeads distributor has also donated over £100,000 towards Cancer Research UK with the support of Trollbeads in Denmark and Trollbeads retailers throughout the UK and Ireland, to help fund the continued vital research into preventing and treating cancer.
