White Pine Trading announces diamond sales events schedule

Three events, from 15 to 16 January, 30 January to 5 February and 12 to 13 February, will be held in New York, with a further event scheduled in Hong Kong from 5 to 8 March.

With offices in Birmingham, New York and Barcelona, White Pine serves manufacturers, pawnbrokers, refiners, and retail jewellers looking to sell their diamonds and achieve market prices. The introduction of sales events to customers in the UK is expected to complement its existing recycled diamond buying operations in the country.

White Pine’s European director Tim Phillips said: “We have seen rapid growth in the recycled diamond market over the past year. This growth has also been observed in White Pines’ sales events held regularly in New York and Hong Kong. The recycled diamond market has rapidly become a force in the global diamond supply chain, and opening these Sales Events to British businesses is another exciting development for White Pine.”

The company believes that selling through White Pine will allow companies located in the UK to gain exposure to some of the industry’s biggest buyers and achieve premium results.

Phillips continued: “Our Sales Events attract some of the world’s largest jewellery manufacturers and diamond dealers who are looking for large volumes of diamond. We are pleased to extend this service to an even broader base of customers looking to sell their diamonds at a competitive rate.”

Approximately 30,000 to 40,000 carats of diamonds in all shapes, sizes and qualities are shown to a select group of buyers at the sales events.
