Astrid and Miyu launch third business accelerator programme

The programme aims to support small independent businesses looking to establish their name in UK retail with applications open until 20 June

Astrid and Miyu has announced the launch of the brand’s third business accelerator programme which is open to all new consumer focused brands with an e-commerce component.

The programme aims to support small independent businesses looking to establish their name in UK retail with applications open until 20 June.

During this year’s four-month long programme, up to seven founders will receive three one-to-one mentorship sessions with a member of the brand’s leadership team and have access to the brand’s other mentors for additional support and advice.

Led by Connie Nam CEO and founder, the mentors also include Shani Oslerne, Ellie Prowse, Sharon Solis, Virginia Seymour, Alexia Aronsten and close friends to the brand Nikki Michelsen and Leah Remfry-Peploe.

Nam said: “Given the tough retail environment of late and the success of last year’s Business Accelerator Programmes, we thought it was only fitting to relaunch the programme to support those starting out on their business journeys or looking to grow in 2021.

“I know from my own first-hand experience what it is like building up a business and I hope that many budding entrepreneurs will join us to learn from my experiences encountered as I launched the Astrid and Miyu brand eight years ago.”
