ROX and Hublot celebrate Art of Fusion in Edinburgh
British luxury jeweller ROX has teamed up with watch brand Hublot at the Hopetoun House in Edinburgh to celebrate the brand’s motto, ‘The Art of Fusion’.
The Scottish city was the ninth stop of the 2017 Art of Fusion World Tour and saw 150 guests attend the event, which took place on 17 November.
The Art of Fusion concept represents the ‘subtle connection between a past ingrained with traditions and a future nourished by visionary ideas’, and the stories behind Hublot’s iconic timepieces were revealed in an exhibition.
Ricardo Guadalupe, CEO of Hublot, Kyron Keogh, managing director of ROX and Benoit Lecigne, Hublot brand director for France, Belux, United Kingdom, Ireland, Eastern Europe and Scandinavia were also at the gathering.
They were welcomed by bagpipes and accompanied by notable Scottish personalities including Celtic FC captain Scott Brown, Scotland rugby player Chris Patterson and actors Atta Yaqub and Craig McGinley.
Guadalupe said: “I am delighted to be here in Edinburgh tonight with our partner ROX to celebrate The Art of Fusion, bringing the best of Swiss watchmaking culture to the heart of Scotland, an ever-growing market for luxury watches in which Hublot has now become a key player.”
Keogh added: “It is an honour to host Hublot with our guests here in Edinburgh to celebrate The Art of Fusion. We have embraced true Scottish tradition with the future of watchmaking. Our guests have enjoyed a unique, spectacular and memorable evening.”
