Thomas Sabo launches Saboteur jewellery brand and piercing studio

Saboteur will be stocking both its Fine Piercing and Petite collection in the Manchester store

Thomas Sabo has announced the launch of its new brand and piercing studio, Saboteur, founded by Thomas Sabo and his son Santiago Sabo, supported by his wife Rita Sabo.

The vision of this new brand is based on the heritage of over 35 years of jewellery and design, and the new collections feature mythical jewellery and adornments “rooted in divine geometry”.

After its opening in Paris, Saboteur decided to launch in England, and the new Saboteur Store and Fine Piercing Studio have opened at the New Cannon Street Arndale Centre in Manchester.

With the poster campaign “Lend us your ears”, which runs parallel to the opening of the store, Saboteur alludes to the City of Literature and uses a quote from Shakespeare’s Julius Caesar.

Thomas Sabo said: “We are thrilled to be rolling out the Saboteur brand to the UK market, with our first store opening in Manchester Arndale. The Trafford Centre, Leeds and Cambridge are among the next openings in our roadmap.”

Santiago Sabo added: “We are confident that the Saboteur Fine Piercing service – unmatched by any competitors for levels of hygiene, studio aesthetics, quality of our products and levels of customer service – will highly resonate with those British customers looking to venture into the creation of ‘constellations’ and who are looking for an outstanding experience in generating distinctive looks for their ears.”

“Our specialist in-store piercers have been trained to the best standards and are able to provide expert guidance on the perfect piercing combinations that match the customer’s style and on piercing trends. There are no rules when it comes to piercings and at Saboteur, we encourage self-expression: our piercings let you experiment and play around with different styles to unleash your wild and unbounded creativity.”
