Dior designs unique brooch for Dior Men Show

The piece is a tribute to the ‘Aurora Borealis’ crystal with iridescent reflections that Monsieur Dior developed in 1956

Victoire de Castellane, the creative director at Dior, has imagined a one-of-a-kind aquamarine brooch for the Dior Men Show.

The piece is inspired by both the ‘Dior Print’ collection, with its colourful striped ribbons, and by the new ‘Diorama and Diorigami’ collection.

One side of the brooch constitutes ribbons in pastel-hued pink and yellow sapphires alongside diamond stripes on one facet.

The other side presents a cascade of vibrant blue sapphire gradation, and the precious birds that give life to the piece and hold the ribbon are paved with diamonds.
