Bucherer unveils The Blue Path collection
Bucherer Fine Jewellery has once again relied on digital and physical trackers in The Blue Path Collection
Bucherer has unveiled its new collection, The Blue Path, which features pieces of jewellery in yellow gold and emeralds created by the masters of the ateliers for The Green Path Collection last year.
The focus this autumn will be on deep blue indicates and to emphasise the exclusiveness of these creations, Bucherer Fine Jewellery has carefully put together a “limited” selection of individual pieces.
The new range which includes earrings, ring, pendant necklace and the “one-of-a-kind” necklace, focusses on a carefully selected emerald-cut indicolite.
The yellow recycled gold and centre stone are complemented by their colouring, chosen cut and setting.
For The Blue Path Collection, Bucherer Fine Jewellery has used rare, sought-after gemstones that are “particularly saturated and radiant in their colour quality and have balanced proportions”.
The “highlight” piece in The Blue Path collection is a necklace which features an indigo blue centre stone of a total of 16.29 ct.
Bucherer Fine Jewellery has once again relied on digital and physical trackers in The Blue Path Collection. All indicolites were given a so-called ‘paternity test’ which allows information regarding the origin of the gemstones to be stored using nanoparticles with an artificial DNA core.
For each indicolite, a digital twin has been created on the blockchain of the Provenance Proof company, where the steps of the supply chain are immutably stored. This gives buyers an overview and background information on the production of the purchased piece of jewellery. At the same time, the digital twin also serves as a certificate.
The Blue Path Collection creations from Bucherer Fine Jewellery are available now in selected Bucherer boutiques.
